According to witnesses, buses and other vehicles full of soldiers were transported to Kapan. The residents of Goris spoke to Aravot Daily about this.
According to several news outlets, the enemy launched attacks on the defense positions near the Agarak village of the Syunik province at 7:30 PM local time on Sunday. This is along the route that leads to the airport.
A number one emergency was issued in Kapan as the enemy fired for half an hour. The enemy stopped firing 40 minutes before this statement was issued, and they gave the Armenian side 10 hours to leave their official positions. The provincial administration of Syunik denied this information.
“We announce that this information does not correspond to reality. There has not been an exchange of fire along the borders of Kapan. Our borders are defended, and the situation is under control,” the statement said.
