“I was in the military operations zone from September 27th until November 28th. Anger is growing inside me because we were positioned on the Kirsavan-Khtsaberd route. We defended the land where Turks are today,” former Chairman of the Military-Industrial Committee, Avetik Kerobyan, said during the “From Loss to Victory” public discussion organized by the National Democratic Pole.
His approach to the necessary actions that need to be taken in the aftermath of the war includes changes in the state government, Armed Forces, and security systems. “It is necessary to mobilize allies around common geopolitical interests. Armenians should unite around a national ideology- the idea of defending the homeland. The causes of what happened must be ruled out in order to prevent the possibility of recurrence. Many may disagree, but those at fault must be found and punished,” he added.
