Around 20 officials from the Shirak region, who volunteered in the defense of the homeland, have been blockaded near the Hin Shen village of Shushi for 3 days.
Some of these officials include the administrator of the Meghrashat village of Amasia, Vahram Saghatelyan; and the deputy head of the Ani community, Narek Nikoyan, who is Samvel Nikoyan’s nephew. There are also other administrative leaders and school principals among them. They are currently in a helpless situation.
Opposition member Karapet Poghosyan informed Aravot Daily about this. He noted that, according to his sources, Russian peacekeepers are currently in the Hin Shen village. The people who are currently blockaded are around five kilometers away from the settlement.
“The state is not doing anything, meanwhile the Turks are saying that we need to evacuate civilians. However, soldiers and troops should not leave. This is an embarrassing situation. We even received information that the enemy shot volunteers from the Armavir region around two hours ago (Translator’s note: Tuesday night). In the beginning, the enemy noted that they will provide us with a route to leave. Our boys entered that route, and that’s when the shooting started. They shot everyone. Who is responsible for all of this?” Poghosyan said angrily.

He also posted about this on Facebook. “Two of my friends have been blockaded for the past three days in Hin Shen. The Russians’ negotiations are ineffective. The ring is being compressed hour by hour.
The Turks shot volunteers from Armavir in the nearby position a little while ago. My friends and all volunteers who went with them all hold high-ranking positions.”
Although the press secretary of the President of Artsakh, Vahram Poghosyan, told Armenpress that Hin Shen is no longer blockaded, Karapet Poghosyan confirmed a while ago that his friends are five kilometers away and they are still blockaded.
