Emergency aid to displaced families from Nagorno Karabakh

Under the framework #TeamEurope, Lithuania will contribute to EU project “Emergency aid to displaced families from Nagorno Karabakh” providing an in-kind contribution of stationary for approximately 70 children.

On December 17, we have also signed the second one of our Rapid Response Mechanism contracts, this time with the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF). The project will provide emergency aid packages and psychosocial and health services to 150 families displaced from Nagorno Karabakh and stationaries to 450 children affected by the conflict. In addition, our colleagues from the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia provided an in-kind contribution of stationary for approximately 70 children.

The project titled ‘Emergency aid to displaced families from Nagorno Karabakh’ will be implemented during the next 3 months and it is the second of the four Rapid Response Mechanisms funded by the European Union that aim to help people displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.
