A new cooperation program between the Crisis Management State Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Military University named after Vazgen Sargsyan MoD RA. The Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan today visited the Crisis Management State Academy in order to discuss this idea and met with the students of the bachelor’s degree programs in education. The educational program to be introduced at the suggestion of the Minister will allow students to study at the Military University named after Vazgen Sargsyan for the last year of their four-year studies, receive the rank of officer and serve in the army on a contract basis.
According to Andranik Piloyan, the possibilities of combining the educational programs of the two universities will be studied. A questionnaire will be developed a survey will be organized with the participation of students to understand their position.
Today, more than 90 graduates of the CMNS serve in various departments of the Ministry of Defense, 60 graduates in the Police, 10 graduates in the National Security Service. 100 employees and officers of the Ministry of Defense and Police study in the part-time system of the Academy. The Minister was hopeful that the suggestion will be successfully implemented and the graduates of the State Academy of Crisis Management will join the officers of the National Army.
