Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today received Russian Minister for Emergency Situations Yevgeny Zinichev.
The Prime Minister appreciated the activities carried out by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in terms of reinstating normal life in Nagorno-Karabakh and providing humanitarian assistance to citizens. Nikol Pashinyan thanked the Russian side for effective cooperation with the Armenian partners.
Noting that the Armenian government is keen to further develop the ongoing strategic cooperation with Russia, the Premier highlighted the key role played by the Russian Federation in strengthening peace and stability in the region.
“We are interested in the furtherance of interaction with Russia in all spheres, including security, economy and humanitarian affairs,” the Prime Minister said and considered it necessary to develop and implement new joint programs.

Yevgeny Zinichev briefed the Armenian Prime Minister on those humanitarian activities carried out by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Artsakh. He advised that the transportation of humanitarian freight and other activities are carried out without any problems in close cooperation with their Armenian colleagues.
Possibilities for tapping the full potential of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Center, joint action in providing prompt response to emergencies were discussed during the meeting.
