“After signing that terrible announcement and document, the government was in the square for three days. And no one took power. Three days later, Nikol Pashinyan was surprised that no one took over, so he came and took it back. It seems to me that many people and groups were surprised that no one wanted to take it. I understand the concerns of the opposition. If they took power, they would bear the consequences of that document. Now, it does not matter whether or not Nikol Pashinyan is a professional or if he did it on purpose. The consequences will not change; they will remain the same. So, that person cannot be the Prime Minister because the war is not over. If people think that Nikol Pashinyan prevented war by signing the document and making concessions, they are terribly mistaken. Look, Azerbaijan captured Hadrut and, in accordance with the proper point on the document, it is not returning Hadrut. Why are we making concessions that are not listed in the document? If Azerbaijan is threatening to start a war with us if we do not make those concessions, and so we are making those concessions, imagine if they were to say that Zangezur belonged to them between 1918-1920, so we need to hand that over, too. What are we going to do then? Are we going to continue making concessions? Until where? Those people who think that Nikol Pashinyan is preventing war by making those concessions need to know up until what point he will concede to. We need to know the answer to that question.”
