According to the locals, delimitation activities took place on Monday, December 28th in the Chakaten village of Syunik. Peacekeepers in vehicles with Russian flags displayed on them entered the village. There were also representatives from the Armenian border guard. The residents of Chakaten were unable to watch television or have mobile connection for several days.
The television tower and connection antennas were allegedly located on a hill that is considered to be Azerbaijani territory. They were already moved to the village. The Armenian flag that the villagers placed in that area is still there.

“The Azerbaijanis are on the other side of the hill. We can’t see them yet,” a villager told us, adding that the dangerous section of the road that could potentially be targeted by the enemy is being guarded by the Russian peacekeepers and Armenian troops. By the way, according to the village resident, the Azerbaijanis have not yet crossed the established border markings in Chakaten.
