On December 29, at 15:19 local time (at 11:19 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MES of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 and 10 kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 45.41⁰ in northern latitude and 16.30⁰ in eastern longitude on the third kilometer south-east of Petrinja town in Croatia. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 9.
According to “gazeta.ru” news web page, there are destructions, one victim and many casualties.
The earthquake was felt in Germany, Serbia, Austria, Slovenia and other countries.
