On December 29, at 23:05 an emergency call was received to Tavush regional crisis management center that a car accident had occurred in “Ghmshkut” field of Artsvaberd village.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “VAZ-2121” (driver Razmik P. born in 1978) and “Toyota RAV4” (driver Garegin Ch. born in 1975) cars collided: Razmik P. died on the spot on the 15th km of Berd-Artsvaberd roadway.
The driver and passengers Sargis Ch. (born in 2012), Gayane Ts. (born in 1979) were taken out of “Toyota RAV4” car by the local forces and removed to the medical center of Berd town, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
