Khan Academy Armenia and the U.S. Embassy in Armenia have launched their collaboration to localize the physics and organic chemistry section materials of Khan Academy’s website. The aim of this project is to improve the quality of natural sciences education in Armenia and to ensure quality educational materials for Armenian learners. As a result, the sections of physics and organic chemistry, arranged by topics, per the state standards, will be made available to Armenian learners on Khan Academy Armenia’s website free of charge.

With the number of issues and challenges our educational system is facing these days, including those caused by the pandemic and remote education, the availability of quality online resources, particularly in the field of natural sciences, is more important than ever. This can especially be seen from the viewpoint of ensuring continuity of children’s education and promoting interest and understanding of scientific subjects.

As part of the U.S. Embassy grant program, videos, exercises and articles in organic chemistry and physics for grades 7-12, localized per the new standards, will be made available on Khan Academy Armenia’s website by the upcoming academic year.

We believe that the subject of natural sciences should be developed as a priority, and that the availability of quality and modern educational materials are the basis for consolidating and equipping science and scientific technology fields.

In cooperation with its partners, the Ayb Educational Foundation continues to create new and modern educational opportunities for the best future of our children.
