Today is Armenian Army Day. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was escorted by several other officials to the Yerablur Military Pantheon early in the morning.
A reporter asked Pashinyan, “Mr. Prime Minister, there are soldiers buried here who died in Shushi, but you announced from the highest podium in the country that Shushi is an Azerbaijani city.”
Pashinyan responded to the reporter, “Come here. Was that you who said that I said Shushi is Azerbaijani? Was that you who asked me? I’m asking you.” The reporter responded, “Wasn’t that you who said that in parliament?”
In response, Pashinyan said, “Where did I say that Shushi belongs to Azerbaijan? Write what I said on a piece of paper. Personally bring me a piece of paper that has written on it what I said during a live stream, and I will answer your question.”
