On February 4, at 07:57 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that a car accident had occurred on the crossroad of Komitas avenue and Papazyan street.
Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the operative group from the Crisis management national center of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “VAZ-2109” (driver M. A. born in 1957) and “BMW E90” (driver G. M. born in 1994) cars collided, then crushed into a billboard: there was a leakage from “VAZ-2109” car.
The rescuers approached M. A. to the ambulance who was hospitalized to “Heratsi” hospital complex N 1, where doctors assessed his condition as satisfactory. Then the rescuers closed the gas valve of “VAZ-2109” car and implemented road clean-up actions.
