“The assistance provided by the governments of Armenia and Artsakh is completely sufficient to resolve socioeconomic issues that arose during the war,” the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mesrop Arakelyan, said during the session of government.
According to him, the average family in Artsakh received approximately 320,000 AMD in state assistance. “At the same time, the government is paying for utilities in their entirety. Several projects for loan compensation will also be implemented soon. We believe that the amount of assistance being provided will resolve socioeconomic issues.”
The minister said that at the moment, 55 billion AMD has been allocated to implement these projects at the moment, of which 21.5 billion has already been spent. The measures accepted today will require around 30 billion AMD within the framework of this 55 billion.
The minister also said that over 100,000 people have returned to Artsakh. A little more than 30,000 people have remained in Armenia, where they have places to stay.
