Black ice is noticed on Vanadzor-Dilijan, Tashir-Privolnoye, Spitak-Gyumri roadways and Spitak turns

The Ministry of ES of RA has informed that some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia.

Berd-Chambarak roadway, Vardenyats Pass and roadways leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Amberd fortress and to Kari lake in Aragatsotn province are closed.

Roadways of Syunik province, intercommunity roadways of Amasia region of Shirak province are difficult to pass.

Dilijan and Noyemberyan turns are closed for trucks and difficult to pass for other types of vehicles.

Black ice is noticed on Vanadzor-Dilijan, Tashir-Privolnoye, Spitak-Gyumri roadways and Spitak turns.

It is snowing in Syunik province (except for Kapan and Meghri towns), in Akhuryan region of Shirak province, in Martuni town and Semyonovka village of Gegharkunik province, in Yeghvard town and Fantan village of Kotayk province, in Aparan town of Aragatsotn province.

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles: there are about 600 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.

Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
