The coordinator of the Save Armenia movement and representative of the Executive Body of the ARF, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, said during the rally that the large numbers of participants show that people are unable to cope with the situation. “You showed the entire world that Armenians can fall and get back up. Armenians can set new goals and dreams for themselves and implement them,” he said, adding that 33 years after the Artsakh movement began, this historical day should open a new, bright page for the Armenian people.
“You slapped the government in the face today. Everyone who said that this movement has faded and that the people have gotten used to what happened… We will get rid of this government and we will create the homeland of our dreams. The Armenian people have never experienced such a weak, disgusting, and dishonest government in its history. You all know that, and we have no need to prove this,” he said, chanting ‘Armenia Without Nikol.’
The participants in the rally joined Ishkhan Saghatelyan in their chants.

He said that it is important to understand how quickly and in what manner Armenians can get rid of this government. At the same time, he stressed, “We have a responsibility towards you and this country. We will never take you on an adventure. Together, as a result of a planned, persistent, consistent struggle, we will get rid of this evil government.”
Then, he added, “Dismissal, resignation, indictment by the prosecutor, arrest or distrust from the majority of the members of the government. One or two of these four methods will become a reality only if we work together to turn the demand for the removal of this treacherous government into a nationwide struggle.”
The coordinator of the Save Armenia movement called upon citizens at home to express their grievances in a unique way if they do not wish to go to Freedom Square, and to not try and justify their absence at the rally based on the fact that they do not want the former regime to return or because they dislike him and his colleagues.
