The members of the Homeland Salvation Movement have been carrying out acts of protest since the early to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. They have closed several streets in Yerevan.
A driver on Verin Antarayin Street asked one of the protesters why they closed the streets. The driver was on his way to work, and he wanted to be able to reach his workplace. “We did the right thing,” the protester responded.
Later, a traffic police officer offered the drivers an alternative: to drive in the opposite lane.

Then, the intersection of Myasnikyan Avenue and Heratsi Street was closed, and the Red Berets took three citizens into custody.
Traffic was also backed up on Azatutyun Avenue, as well as several other streets in Yerevan and the metro. A protester stood in between the doors of the metro in a police officer’s presence and shouted, “Traitor Nikol, the homeland destroyer!”
