The mayor of Kapan, Gevorg Parsyan, held a speech at the rally in the capital of the Syunik Province. He mentioned that there is political chaos in the country, and the country needs stability.
“The system needs to work, and the only way it will truly do so is through Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation and new elections,” the mayor said.
Those gathered applauded at these words. The conditions in Syunik in the post-war period aggravated the situation even more.
“Mr. Pashinyan, you say that everyone is your brother and sister. So, our appeal to you is to stop the overthrow of the throne. Make the situation in the country stable, which can happen with your resignation. You are an obstacle, Mr. Pashinyan. Understand that and resign. That’s it. Period,” the mayor said.
