Rik Daems, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make a working visit to Moscow on 15-16 March, during which he will hold a series of high-level meetings, in particular with the Speaker of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin; the Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov; and the Minister of Justice, Konstantin Chuychenko (to be confirmed).
Meetings are also scheduled with the Chairperson of the Russian delegation to PACE, Petr Tolstoi, and members of the delegation, as well as with NGOs representatives.
