Equipment was procured by Japan International Cooperation Agency in the frames of the “Project for the Improvement of Crisis Communication and Public Awareness for Disaster Risk Reduction”. The equipment will be used for the exercises envisaged in the Project, particularly to implement large-scale shootings, video editing, and also to establish communication between operative shooting unit and information center to be created in MES. In addition, MES will use the equipment for the activities related to the Project in cooperation with Japanese side.
Deputy Minister Arkadi Balyan expressed gratitude to the Japanese side for effective cooperation, noting that this support and exchange of experience contribute to the development of the capacity of MES RA.
The representative of the Japanese side emphasized that the guarantee of the successful course of the Project is also the efforts of the Armenian side.
