Currently, protests are taking place in 15 cities across the world, including Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Geneva, Warsaw, and others demanding the immediate return of Armenian prisoners of war and captives.
Protests are also taking place in front of the UN Office in Yerevan.
Members of the initiative presented a statement during the protest that was also presented in 15 countries. The statement included examples of war crimes and human rights violations committed by Azerbaijan during the war.

Then, the protesters marched to the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
In an interview with reporters, one of the members of the initiative, Seda Grigoryan, said, “There is an agreement that has three sides. Russia is directly involved in the confirmation of the ceasefire and future operations. Our demand is that Russia remain consistent, demand, and obligate Azerbaijan to implement all of its responsibilities as outlined in the agreement.”
When asked if the international community received our messages, she said, “Azerbaijan is illegally keeping our prisoners of war. We have already seen the reaction of the international community in various dimensions. We have seen that they understand, perceive, and accept that our prisoners of war are being held illegally in Azerbaijan. There were also human rights reports. Yes, the UN and other human rights organizations have stated that their mission is to protect human rights without preconditions, so here we are reminding them of their mission.”
Regarding the opening of the Armenian Military Trophy Park in Baku, Grigoryan said, “Not only did Aliyev walk past the mannequins of Armenian captives in the humiliating exhibition that was opened in Baku, but people also took their children there for fun. The scandal has been criticized by international journalists and human rights organizations. It is time for everyone to make an effort and to take action.”
Activist Nina Karapetyants also noticed that this is not only the work of the state, but also the citizens. Then, she assured that civil society is carrying out large efforts in this direction.
