Speeches of NA Factions on Implementation of Procedure and Results of Government Programme for 2020
On April 16, the regular sitting of the National Assembly continued. The representatives of the NA Factions gave a speech referring to the Implementation of the Procedure and the Results of the Government Programme for 2020.
Edmon Marukyan gave a speech on behalf of the NA Bright Armenia Faction: You destroyed the economy, the army and the diplomacy and you came to say that the former authorities are to blame. If they were not guilty, what would you do here? Who should elect you to become a deputy and a minister? They were guilty and the revolution was for that. The only way out of this catastrophic plague is the snap elections and the solution of the crisis. But there is an important circumstance: if we want the Government to be changed, we should take an important step. I make an official proposal to all former authorities beginning with Robert Kocharyan. Step aside and we will turn these people into a small opposition. If you do not step aside, they will campaign against you through reproduction. We will not allow this genocidal plague situation to be continued in any way.
Hayk Konjoryan gave a speech on behalf of the NA My Step Faction: It is already a few days we debate the report on the Implementation of the Government Programme for 2020. It is often an impression that some partners confused this NA high tribune with Facebook profiles. Unfortunately, it is a reality. It is also the price of the democracy which we pay. We passed 2020 in the process of crisis management. We faced with two major forces: one global and the other regional. In both cases they exceeded our capabilities and our knowledge ten times with their rates and volumes. It is not only about us – it is about the whole world. In our country where doctors were fighting against coronavirus, at the same time our country was intensively fighting against the falsification and lies of the propaganda war. Concrete circles used the virus as a political springboard and as a political baton to hit on the head of this Government. Hitting us, they also hit the people of the Republic of Armenia.
