Ararat Mirzoyan receives Caroline Cox
On April 27, the President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan received the member of the House of Lords of the Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Baroness Caroline Cox, who was in Armenia for taking part in the ceremonies to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
Welcoming the guest, Ararat Mirzoyan noted that it was a great honour for him personally to host one of the best friends of the Armenian people in the National Assembly.
The NA President and Baroness Cox discussed the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the improvement of the humanitarian situation in Artsakh, issues on the return of the illegally detained prisoners of war and other persons by Azerbaijan to the Motherland. An agreement was reached to combine the efforts in the works with the international colleagues.

At the end of the meeting Ararat Mirzoyan thanked Caroline Cox for being next to the Armenians during about 30 years and for selflessly and fairly fighting during these years.
