“May 9th has always been and will always be a holiday for us. Unfortunately, last year was very difficult for all of us,” My Step deputy Vladimir Vardanyan said during briefings in parliament in response to a question of how they were able to celebrate the triple holiday.
He said, “Let’s be honest. We do not need to politicize the issue because every Armenian felt different emotions yesterday. It was difficult, and it was difficult for each and every one of us. In many cases, we are trying to survive and reevaluate what happened, but at the same time, we were happy because we were thinking about how Armenians continue to live in Artsakh, and how Artsakh is independent and not under the control of any state. We will all work to make sure that Artsakh’s territorial integrity is restored,” Vladimir Vardanyan added.
