On May 10, Andranik Piloyan, the Acting Minister of Emergency Situations, received a delegation of Armenian charitable organizations of France, which included the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of Southern France Julien-Tigran Harunyan, the Chairman of the Diocesan Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church of France and the Council of the Srbots Targmanchats Church of Marseille Robert Azilazyan, the Chairman of the Organization of Armenian Youth of France Levon Khozyan, the General Director of the Armenian charity organization “Bardzunk 5165”, the Head of programs of Armenia Lusine Melikyan, the honorary Chairman of the Armenian-French Chamber of Commerce Simon Azilazyan, Armenian and french youth included in the charity programs of the Armenian community in France.
Welcoming the guests, Andranik Piloyan noted the importance of the role of the Armenians in the Diaspora in all the processes of development of the motherland. In particular, he highlighted the support of the French Armenians in overcoming the consequences of three Artsakh wars and highly appreciated the constant support provided to the families of the victims and missing people, disabled people and veterans, and the readiness to be close to the motherland.
The guests discussed with the Acting Minister issues related to humanitarian aid provided during the 44-day war, its distribution and further needs. It should be noted that within the framework of these programs, 3 “RENAULT” cars were provided for the needs of the MES at the expense of the French Armenians.
A. Piloyan assured that the consequences of the war could be overcome only by joint efforts: “Today, the most important thing is unity, including with the Diaspora”.
