‘No matter who comes to power, manna will not fall from the sky on June 20th’: Tigran Atanesyan

May 11,2021 22:01

“Many people might not like the truth, but Nikol Pashinyan is similar to a large portion of our population. It is not necessary to get an education or study; it is only necessary to lie to everyone about everything. If it is possible to become the prime minister of a country with this level, then everything was right, and those masses will always belong to him. It is impossible to change those people,” lawyer Tigran Atanesyan told reporters during a meeting at the Hayeli press club regarding acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s electorate.

“We must come to accept that there are people who are happy about the loss of land in Artsakh. Be afraid of the fact that 30-40 percent will vote for him. The intelligent and patriotic groups of people will leave. They are happy living in this situation. Who is to blame for the fact that people are that way? We can talk about this for a long time, but it is a fact,” Tigran Atanesyan said.

He also said that he was amazed at one of the former National Assembly sessions that Eduard Sharmazanov held. “It seems that we once had a National Assembly where people knew how to speak Armenian.”

Regarding the upcoming elections, Atanesyan said that life will not end on June 20th. “If the political parties are successful in liberating our country, we will have a second chance at life. If not, life will continue after that. Now, all of us are in our graves. No matter who comes to power, manna will not fall from the sky on June 20th. We need many years to overcome the consequences left behind by that traitor.”
