A few days ago the deputy Rustam Bakoyan met with the Yazidis of Jrashen community and listened to their problems. On May 12, the MP visited Jrashen community to get acquainted with them on the spot.
The first and the most urgent issue that that was presented the by the MP was the item of privatizing the land plots. In the 1960s about 20002 m land plots were allotted free for the work of the Yazidi community residents, which were written in the registration book. The representatives of the community applied to the Municipality by the established order for registering the right to property, and from there they were informed that 3002 m were given for free by the established order, and the residents can buy 17002 m.
In the opinion of the lawyer defending the interests of the Yazidi community Samvel Gabirelyan, the citizen has the right to privatize the 20002 m land plots belonging to them. According to him, the citizen’s rights have been violated. The Yazidi community demands the right to privatize the land plots given for free and belonging to the m in the framework of law and by the established order.
The next problem is the absence of the irrigation water. The water pipes are in deplorable condition. About 70 economy entities cannot irrigate the land plots.
Rustam Bakoyan expressed readiness to discuss the issues with the representatives of the relevant bodies and be consistent with their solution.
