A PACE parliamentary hearing on reported cases of political prisoners in Azerbaijan is to be streamed live today at 14h CET.

Participants at the hearing, organised by PACE’s Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights in the framework of a report by Thorhildur Sunna Ævarsdóttir (Iceland, SOC), include the Director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy Leyla Yunus, as well as the Chairman of the Baku Human Rights Club Rasul Jafarov. A representative of the Azerbaijan authorities has also been invited.
