On May 17, at 06:42 an emergency call was received to Crisis management national center that a car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there were blocked citizens.
The rescue group from the Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Forces Department and one fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Nissan Altima” car ran off the roadway and crashed into the road barrier on the 13th km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway and as a resualt the driver died on the spot and the passenger A. Ch. (born in 2003) was hospitalized to the medical center in Abovyan town.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car, blocked off the scene and implemented road clean-up actions.
