Nikol Pashinyan briefed President Lukashenko on the latest developments on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with President Alexander Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus, which is a Collective Security Treaty Organization member state.

Nikol Pashinyan briefed President Lukashenko on the latest developments on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. He noted that the Azerbaijani side has crossed into the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia in breach of all norms of international law.

The Acting Prime Minister of Armenia called his interlocutor’s attention to the need for discussing the issue within the framework of the CSTO and harmonizing the positions of CSTO-member states on the incident.

Concerned over the current situation, President Lukashenko expressed readiness to help resolve it peacefully.
