Emphasizing the unparalleled contribution of women in the establishment of the statehood and the civil society in the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh
The Women’s Initiative calls on the governments of the countries, international political and human rights organizations to make efforts to address the following issues:
* To increase the participation in preventing the continuation of the Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh and ensuring the inviolability of the borders of Armenia
* To apply to the OSCE Minsk Group to ensure the full implementation of its functions, with regards to the status and situation around Artsakh, or come up with another proactive and unbiased initiative, that will work on a new scale.
* To urge the Armenian authorities to comply with the joint demand of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and to apply to the UN Security Council to ensure the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
Hereby, the Women’s Initiative reaffirms its readiness to do its utmost to support the safe and real democratic statehood and sustain dignified peace in Armenia and Artsakh, as well as firmly withstand all the threats to Armenia’s sovereignty.
