My Step deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan and Artak Manukyan have already announced that they will not be on the Civil Contract list for the upcoming elections.
The head of the My Step faction, Lilit Makunts, confirmed rumors that Tigran Avinyan and Hayk Marutyan will also not be on the list. “That was their personal decision. I would ask that you contact Mr. Avinyan for additional commentary. I think the same would go for Mr. Marutyan.” When asked if he will not be on the list due to disagreements with Pashinyan, Makunts said, “I don’t have such information.”
Makunts also confirmed that there are other deputies who will not be on the pre-election lists. Reporters attempted to find out if rumors about how Avinyan and Makunts will be appointed ambassadors were true. Makunts said that she does not have information about whether or not Avinyan will be appointed ambassador, but she already confirmed rumors about her being appointed US ambassador. However, they will speak about that after the elections when decisions will be made.
