One of my relatives recently correctly noticed that the first president of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrossian, expressed thoughts in his written and oral texts with which one may or may not agree, while the current acting Prime Minister does not express thoughts in his pre-election speeches. I would call them cries that should ignite those gathered while keeping the fire of hatred burning in them.
Many of you have probably seen on the Internet how orators (some of whom, unfortunately, call themselves “Christians”) shout in front of an audience of thousands, and those gathered fall into a trance, start making strange movements with their heads and hands, and shout in response to the speaker’s shouts. Do they respond to the speaker’s thoughts? Apparently not. The form of communication of the speaker is verbal at first sight, but he bypasses the level of consciousness deeply and these words are directed to the deep instincts. Are the speakers who tear the throat and make the masses happy are stupid or, in the ordinary sense of the word, abnormal? I’m sure not. They do their business. It is another matter that in order to “warm up” the audience, they consciously put themselves in a “trance” so that the exclamations and formulas are more convincing.
They say that Adolf Hitler would reach sexual satisfaction during such speeches, and it was impossible for that not to have had an effect on the masses shouting “Heil!” It was not difficult to deny what he said at the logical level. If people turn on their brains, it will not be possible to convince them that only the “Aryans” have idealism and self-sacrifice, and that they alone are the driving force of science and art. After two minutes of thinking, anyone will come up with dozens of examples that contradict this claim. But the problem is that in such audiences, people never turn on their brains.
The same is the case for Nikol Pashinyan’s pre-election speeches. In the flood of cries, people do not ask themselves, for example, how to be proud of defeat, that is, losing huge territories and having thousands of casualties. Or how did it happen that everyone is to blame for that defeat, from the previous authorities to the generals, and the leader of the country and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces is not to blame? Representatives of the Pashinyan electorate do not ask those questions, they do not logically analyze what their idol said.

All this could be regarded more or less calmly, after all, this is the level of maturity of our society on which Pashinyan works. The problem is that our security and independence are at stake in these populist games. The resigned foreign minister spoke about it in a direct manner yesterday.
