“It would be preferable that you ask Mr. Ayvazyan because I do not think that we are in the kind of situation where such issues exist,” Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said during a briefing with reporters, commenting on the former Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Ayvazyan’s resignation statement.
“Naturally, our national interests are a priority for all of us. I do not see any reason, but nevertheless, if there is such an idea, it would be better to ask Mr. Ayvazyan,” he said. In response to the comment that Ara Ayvazyan’s resignation was preceded by a Security Council session, and perhaps the resignation proves that there is some secret document, Mher Grigoryan said, “Rule out that possibility. We must understand the seriousness of the situation. I cannot understand how anyone can spread news endlessly that there is a secret document. There is no such thing. What is being discussed is, at most, public. Let me assure you that there can be no secret document that will not be published and will not be discussed publicly. Such speculations are unnecessary.”
On November 9, 2020, the documents on the control of the Goris-Davit Bek-Kapan-Chakaten route and the Armenia-Azerbaijan demarcation were not publicly discussed, but they became known as the result of being leaked.
