“We should not discuss the military industry very much for two reasons. First, it is our internal issue and an important method of ensuring security. Instead of talking too much, we should act, “said Hayk Chobanyan, the acting Minister of High Technological Industry of the Republic of Armenia and former governor of Tavush, during a briefing with journalists in parliament on Tuesday.
“I am against the public discussions that refer to the creation of weapons and equipment. Consider this a message to everyone: if anyone has a wish or proposal for discussion, the doors of the ministry are always open,” Hayk Chobanyan stressed.
He said that he has been in office for more than a month and receives several groups of people daily․ “It is encouraging that there is a great desire of entrepreneurs to be involved in the sphere. There is an opportunity to make significant changes in the Armenian military potential in the coming months with the involvement of the Armenian military-industrial complex.”
