The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has spread another misinformation, according to which on the evening of June 140 Armenian servicemen crossed the border into Azerbaijan, after which the subdivisions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces “forced them to return to their starting positions.”
It is obvious that such misinformation is spread by the Azerbaijani military-political leadership in order to impress in the international community about the attempts of the RA Armed Forces to aggravate the Armenian-Azerbaijani border situation, and to counterbalance the provocations of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces to invade the territory of the Republic of Armenia on May 12-13.
The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia states that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia did not cross the border of the Republic of Azerbaijan, neither on June 1, nor in the previous days, and all statements in this regard are disinformation disseminated by the Ministry of Defence of this country, the volume of which has increased significantly recently. In particular, a few days ago, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry stated that the Armenian side opened fire both on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and on Azerbaijani positions located in the direction of Shushi, which was denied, respectively, by the Armenian defence department and the command of the Russian military group carrying out the peacekeeping mission in the Republic of Artsakh.
