The Armenia bloc will enter the campaigning stage starting on June 7th in a rather organized way. The format of organizing the campaign has already been clarified. The head of the Armenia bloc’s pre-election headquarters, Armen Gevorgyan, spoke about this at a press conference on Friday. The bloc’s territorial headquarters were opened throughout the country, guided by the administrative-territorial divisions of the former USSR and by districts in Yerevan. In total, there will be more than 800 subdivisions of the bloc throughout the country.
“We are very encouraged by the fact that the flow to our headquarters has intensified in recent days. It means that the public is starting to develop interest not only in the electoral process, but also in our bloc,” Armen Gevorgyan said, describing the public attitude as inspiring and binding. He added that they are quite determined to do everything possible so that the campaigning and organizational work is carried out at a high level and without any troubles. “We are trying to do our work without causing problems for others, and we are trying to persuade our people, first of all, to definitely participate in the upcoming elections and if they do, they will definitely choose our alliance.”
According to Armen Gevorgyan, quite interesting work has started on the program presented by the bloc. “We have received many proposals, there will be separate discussions with professional communities in the near future. We have very interesting and prepared people, with whom I also think we should be ready to go a long way.” During the campaign, during the regional meetings-discussions, they hope to find prepared people with interesting proposals, with whom long-term work plans will be made, because “we have a long way to go to get the country out of this hole.” This is also an interesting experience for Amen Gevorgyan, as there have never been such program discussions before.
