The Civil Contract campaign in Ejmiatsin did not go all that smoothly. An elderly woman criticized the acting Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. A little later, 4-5 police officers forced the woman into the police car and took her into custody. The elderly woman was shouting, “Let me go, don’t you dare!” She was insulting the police officers and calling them Turks. Pashinyan’s supporters were following the incident, and they were shaming the elderly woman: “You’re an older woman, be ashamed.”
