Nikol Pashinyan still has not understood the Artsakh conflict resolution issue. The first President of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrossian spoke about this during a press conference on Thursday. In response to a question about how Ter-Petrossian had a history with Pashinyan, and if he truly was uninformed about the Artsakh conflict resolution, Levon Ter-Petrossian said that Pashinyan has not understood anything until now. The first president said he understood in 1996-1997 that the balance of power between Armenia and Azerbaijan will change, the GDP will change, as there was an oil circumstance.
“I saw what was happening, emigration from Armenia should have continued, the same from Azerbaijan, but they were leaving a country of eight million, and we were leaving a country of three million. It is a simple thing. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still playing well today, but he will not play well in two years.”
Levon Ter-Petrosyan said that in 2018, he tried to do everything so that Serzh Sargsyan would definitely search for a solution. “At that time, Aliyev’s resistance was over, his international patience was over. Serzh should have signed it in 2018 and left.”
