The representatives of the Armenian National Congress met with their supporters at the Vanadzor Palace of Culture After Charles Aznavour. The Vice President of the political party, Levon Zurabyan, told the residents of Vanadzor during the meeting that he is surprised by the fact that some people continue to support Nikol Pashinyan. “The people are so grateful to Nikol Pashinyan for freeing them from that Robert-Serzh slavery that they don’t want to get rid of Nikol Pashinyan even after all these tragic mistakes,” Zurabyan said.
The candidate for deputy said that the Civil Contract party and the Armenia alliance have appealed to the Yerevan municipality to hold rallies in the city for the four days after the elections. “Civilian clashes are predicted between the two sides during that time period. The two sides have shown that they are prepared for a literal civil war in order to take power or maintain power,” Zurabyan said, noting that post-election clashes can only be prevented by his party. “The more votes that Levon Ter-Petrossian and the ANC gather, the less likely the chance is of there being a civil war in Armenia.”
