“We are convinced that the 44-day war has strengthened the context of self-determination of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh under the logic of ‘secession for salvation.’ It is obvious that anti-Armenian sentiment in Azerbaijan not only remains a state policy, but is further emphasized by such an example as the disgraceful trophy park opened in Baku,” said Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the final rally of the Civil Contract party on Republic Square on Thursday.
He noted that the axis of security is the development of Armenian-Russian relations. “In terms of regional security, I want to emphasize the need to deepen our cooperation with Iran and launch a strategic dialogue. There needs to be the full involvement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in regional security affairs. We have recently seen a very good example of the practical effectiveness of this theory. The key factor in maintaining the security of our country is the process of reforming our army and Armed Forces. There is no alternative to the transition to a professional army.”
Speaking about the economy, Pashinyan promised to ensure 7% annual economic growth and GDP growth. Pashinyan spoke about the corrupt system of the previous government. He also promised to study the circumstances of the 44-day war objectively. “With the steel mandate given by the people, we will establish a solid system of inalienable rights and responsibilities in Armenia. This is not just a process of forming a parliament and a government.
The moment of truth of the RA citizen has really come. This election has created a unique opportunity for the citizens of Armenia to have a say in the organizers of the October 27 terrorist attack, the murderers of March 1, the election falsifiers who have deprived the citizens of the Republic of Armenia of the right to vote for many years. Some people are trying to keep their allies by their side by saying ‘Don’t worry, everything has been decided, allegedly the “elites” have decided what the outcome of the elections will be.’ These people do not understand that their train of electoral fraud has long since left. Those distributing electoral bribes in Armenia are being arrested and detained at this very moment. The more active they are, the bigger numbers they will be arrested and detained in.” Pashinyan assured that the people of Armenia will win with a crushing landslide.
