On July 8, at 14:03 local time (at 10:03 GMT) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MES of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 and 10 kilometers depth with the geographic coordinates of 41.18⁰ in northern latitude and 43.93⁰ in eastern longitude on the 12th km north-east from Bavra village of Shirak province in Armenian-Georgian border.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 4.
The earthquake was felt in Bavra village of Shirak province and in Alaverdi town, Paghaghbyur and Akori villages of Lori province of RA with the magnitude of 3.
