Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Co-Chairman of the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations of France Ara Toranian.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of regular contacts between representatives of the Armenian government and the Diaspora, which provide an opportunity to exchange views and take note of each other’s positions. The Acting Premier emphasized that the challenges facing Armenia can only be addressed through nationwide consolidation. Nikol Pashinyan added that the most important task in the current situation is the formation of a new national agenda in line with our goals and opportunities. “We must mobilize the pan-Armenian potential to face challenges and advance our national agenda,” the Acting Prime Minister said.
Ara Toranian presented the activities carried out by the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France, the steps taken to promote our country’s interests in France, as well as their willingness to help expand the ongoing cooperation with the French government. Mr. Toranian highlighted the importance of internal stability, noting that consistent and well-coordinated cooperation is needed with the Diaspora in order to defy the emerging challenges.
“The path you have chosen to strengthen democracy is highly appreciated. We have been and will remain committed to the noble cause of protecting and developing the Armenian statehood,” Ara Toranian said.
