The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to the Republic of Armenia Graeme Meehan (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated and wished the newly appointed Ambassador success, expressing confidence that he would make every effort to intensify bilateral relations. The President of Armenia noted that the two friendly countries have a great potential for developing cooperation, and more can be done for the promotion of the Armenian-Australian relations. President Sarkissian particularly singled out the spheres of science, high technologies, culture, and tourism.
