According to a decision by the government, Argishti Kyaramyan will be appointed head of the Investigative Committee. This information was outlined in the agenda for Monday’s session of government.
According to another decision, Hayk Grigoryan will be relieved of the position of head of the Investigative Committee.
Argishti Kyaramyan is an official who has changed the most positions in a very short period of time. As of March 1, 2019, he was working as an assistant to the head of the State Control Management of the Republic of Armenia. About a year later, he was appointed the deputy head of the State Control Management. Then, on May 4, 2020, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee. He worked in this position for one day. On May 5, 2020, he was appointed as an exchange for the National Security Service. On June 8, he was appointed director of the National Security Service, a position he held until October 8.
On December 24, 2020, he was appointed head of the Investigative Committee in the local area.
