“I saw a picture today. Arayik Harutyunyan was sitting in a central position with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, people were sitting around him. Imagine such a shot in the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. How wonderful it would be for the Armenian army, the Armenian Armed Forces, if there was such a joke, such a picture in the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. Figures of that quality, people of that quality would lead the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan in this difficult post-war situation,” said Edgar Ghazaryan, former Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court, at a press conference at the Hayeli club today.
He drew attention to how many Security Council officials have changed in the last three years. According to Edgar Ghazaryan, Pashinyan removed all those who showed signs of patriotism at any moment from office.
When asked if Pashinyan wants to do something more dangerous, which is why he is dismissing Vagharshak Harutyunyan, Edgar Ghazaryan replied, “I do not know what the purpose of these personnel changes is, but I know one thing – no reasonable person should have expectations of something good now. It is just that our imagination is very poor and weak to imagine what new criminal anti-people, anti-state actions Nikol Pashinyan is planning. I think that a very small part of the society is sober, and a very small part of them are ‘zombies,’ they do not want to understand what they see.”
