July 31,2021 21:01

According to Aravot Daily’s sources; the founder of the Tigran Arzakantsyan charitable foundation and former deputy Tigran Arzakantsyan filed a report with the Gavar Police Department on July 29th because he was threatened.

Tigran Arzakantsyan was threatened by Vitaly Grigoryants, who lives in Moscow, over the phone. In particular, Grigoryants told Arzakantsyan in a phone conversation on July 21, 2021, that he sees Tigran Arzakantsyan as his enemy, and he will punish Arzakantsyan. In his police report, Arzakantsyan wrote that “knowing Grigoryants, I consider his threats to be true threats against my life.” Based on Tigran Arzakantsyan’s report, the police is preparing materials.

Aravot Daily attempted to receive clarification about why Moscow resident Vitaly Grigoryants threatened to punish Tigran Arzakantsyan, and what the problem is that Arzakantsyan was so afraid that he decided to find defense with the police. “The issue is being investigated. Due to preliminary confidentiality, we cannot comment on that,” Tigran Arzakantsyan’s spokesperson, Tigran Hovhannisyan, said. Tigran Arzakantsyan is not currently responding to phone calls.
