“Yes, we are facing serious challenges. We never tried to hide. That is why we repeatedly call on our opposition partners to work together in a constructive field and face the challenges,” said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in his closing speech during the discussion of the government’s five-year program in parliament. He said there are several scenarios: to escape responsibility, to use force, or to use mediators to unite the internal community.
“We have appealed to our people, and our people have given us a mandate to resolve these issues. We are not running away from responsibility.”
Then, referring to the opposition, none of whose representatives was in the hall, he said, “You have spread all possible lies. Is the President of Azerbaijan making new statements?Those statements were made in 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016, weren’t they?” He said that the statements made by Azerbaijan are aimed at attacking the regional peace agenda and diverting us from the regional agenda.
