“Where are those paid-for suitcases, Mr. Mnatsakanyan?”: Amram Makinyan

September 07,2021 12:02

“I have not forgotten Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.  In an interview with BBC, he talked about carrying some suitcases for money. Mr. Mnatsakanyan, when you resigned immediately after the war, where are you now?” lawyer Amram Makinyan announced during a briefing with journalists on September 6th. He had said that they would go after all the lies, and in that context, a lawsuit was filed on behalf of the third president Serzh Sargsyan against the deputy of the Civil Contract faction Khachatur Sukiasyan.

“War has two sides – military and diplomatic. Where is the culprit of our diplomatic defeat, where is that man? What were those suitcases? There is no need to constantly make the public listen to such things. Where are the suitcases and the criminal cases, Mr. Mnatsakanyan? Did you go to the prosecutor’s office, did you give a report?” Amram Makinyan asked. According to him, such statements inspired people that such things truly happened. According to Amram Makinyan, it is horrible when a person representing Armenians foreign diplomacy makes such statements on such a media outlet and is not held responsible for the diplomatic defeat.
