Former Prosperous Armenia MP Arman Abovyan wrote about the “Azerbaijaniization” of Armenian place names in Azerbaijan on his Facebook page. “The large-scale Turkification of Armenian place names has begun at the highest level in Azerbaijan. On television, in newspapers, on social networks, and even on public transport, the nomadic Azeri tribe is aggressively being brainwashed for open demands on the entire territory of Armenia. At the same time, Azeris and Turks are constantly holding military exercises near the Armenian border and in the occupied territories of Artsakh.
What is the Pashinyan administration doing at the moment? Can it actively counteract enemy propaganda? No. Maybe he is preparing a lawsuit in The Hague against Aliyev and Erdogan? No. Instead, the Pashinyan administration is preparing for “peace” with those scoundrels who threaten to destroy us. New territorial concessions are being prepared. They are preparing to open the border with the Turks. They are going to provide a road that will connect Turkey and Azerbaijan. I do not understand if the government does not take the scale of the impending catastrophe seriously, or if it’s doing this on purpose. I confirm that the policy of the Armenian authorities to appease the savage appetite of Turks and Azeris is going to cause a new catastrophe. And if the authorities do not stop pleasing the Turks and Azeris, we will all face the division of Armenia, the real threat of Turkification.”
